Problem

  • Due to the lockdown, the induction program for a couple of hundred of new employees was cancelled.
  • They wanted the new employees to be trained within the stipulated time on the various modules, since physical mode of training was not feasible.
  • Their current induction was in form of PPT, MP4 and some word files.
  • Time of implementation was a big concern as the client wanted to utilize the lockdown period for the induction.
  • Because of the lock-down end-user support was very critical to make this transition.

Solution

  • GOLS EdTech offered its Ready-to-use (off the shelf) LMS and conversion of their existing Presentations (PPT, MP4, Word files) into a Level 1 content with professional Voiceover.
  • The Induction module had a total of 9 modules with built-in assessments to check the knowledge retention of the new joiners about the topic.
  • The solution is capable of tracking the activities of the users, in terms of individual course report generations, login activity, etc. This LMS is hosted on secured Amazon Web Services (AWS) server.
  • End-user support was provided to the new joiners who would face any challenge at the time of accessing the courses.

  • The game was designed as a pro-biking application with an option to chose avatars, rewards, penalties, and life lines to check the retention of learning.

  • Automated certificate was provided after successful completion of the training.

Methodology

  • Step 1 : Understanding of the core systems of 7 sales modules and choice of languages. Project roadmap created and shared with client.
  • Step 2: Multiple teams deployed to lead the conversions in different languages and complete on-screen text (OST) translation, syncing the voice-overs, checking on the interactivities, testing, etc.
  • Step 3: Converted modules made available to client within the agreed timelines.
